1959 Rambler American. 8-Cylinder 5.0 Gasoline Engine. 4 Speed Automatic Transmission.
A vintage classic has been totally rebuilt from the ground up.
The body has all original steel panels, the hood and rear deck have been shaved, and louvers in new hood. The hood has a crease across the rear portion. Paint is PPG/Base coat (white), light grey bottom and medium grey top.
Powered by a 5.0 Fuel Injected engine with polished aluminum valve covers. A 16" Electric cooling fan with mechanical clutch. A Ford C-4 transmission with shift kit. HPC No Leak Headers, torque converter and Magnaflow mufflers. The rear end in a Ford 9 with Ladder construction and a TCI Coil Over front end. The front has Ford Mustang power disk & calipers, and Ford drum rear brakes. American Mag wheels with 195/60x15 front and 265/50x15 rear tires. Power steering, power windows, power door locks, air conditioning (Vintage Air), and tilt steering wheel. The interior has totally refurbished, the original seats and interior has been rebuilt with grey tweed material. The dashboard includes classic gauges including Speedo, clock, gas gauge, temp, oil pressure and amp meter. A custom fuel cell is mounted in the trunk.
